To deliver superior Human Resources Solutions.
To emerge as the finest human capital based company in South Africa.
We pride ourselves on NOT being an ‘off the shelf’ recruitment agency – We don’t sit around waiting for advert responses or rely on an old database. For every project undertaken, we create a bespoke, tailored search to ensure that each individual need and requirement is at the forefront, and each candidate is cherry picked exclusively for your role.
Many companies will have a PSL (preferred supplier list), but we have a PCL (preferred client list). We are privileged to have a prestigious client portfolio offering exciting roles, the chance to work with cutting edge technology, fast tracked progression and a refreshing working environment.
By working with a select list of clients we are able to dedicate more time to each role, enabling us to fully complete each search, rather than spread ourselves too thinly. With this philosophy in mind, we strictly only dedicate our time working on vacancies where we truly believe we can add value.
View HR Model
We source people at all levels – from entry level to the junior to the senior management. We partner with clients to fill permanent and contract vacancies. We are specialists in placing personnel across our 7 specialist brands in and around South Africa namely:
Peruse and review key documentation such as the manual reports, HR policies, strategic plan, business plan, procedures, and systems and other relevant documentation.
The consultant will also identify expectations, concerns, risks and consequences. Included at this stage is an in-depth assessment of the organisation’s culture and norms.
This exercise enables us to customize our training programme in order to meet your organisation’s needs. Oceana Training has generated a standard questionnaire for conducting GAP Analysis. This questionnaire will be customised to incorporate ideas and views of the managers and their expectation of the program.
At this stage delegates will also given pre-work to be completed before the starting of the actual course.
All our course programmes are developed to suit your organization’s needs. This will help us to deliver accurate and relevant documents relating to the functioning
of your organisation so as to obtain examples of practical or projects that officials that are targeted through this programme have to deal with.
This will done according to the scheduled agreed upon. Oceana Training is flexible when it comes to course dates.
The company has an understanding that the needs of your organisations in term of productivity, etc will have to come first
At the end of the training delegates will be issued with a certificate of attendance.
A month after the series of the workshop delegates will be taken through the assessment. Oceana Training assesses and evaluates our course delegates according to the National Qualification Framework (NQF), for South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) standards and the requirements of the ETQA. Our team of assessors is highly skilled in the use of formative and summative forms of assessment.
Oceana Human Resources Professionals develops job descriptions through a job analysis process that solicits employee feedback and establishes objective performance measures that specifically align with the overall goals of the organization.
It is the philosophy of Oceana Human Resources Proffesionals that strategic planning develops and provides a baseline of activities that will guide a company’s strategic business plan over the course of three years. Strategic planning provides continuity among key leadership as to the strategic direction of current operations and identifies the operational and environmental priorities for the company’s success.
Organizations today are undergoing dramatic changes in their approach to compensation. Many aspects of traditional systems are no longer found to be compatible with the rapidly evolving business environment. Oceana Human Resources Professionals can conduct a wage and salary review and develop a formalised salary administration program using competitive market analysis data.
Oceana Human Resources Professionals conducts a comprehensive human resource audit to identify and clarify needs in the human resource area and highlight non-compliance issues. The audit focuses on qualitative findings and several quantitative benchmarks, which allows us to provide you with targeted recommendations to improve your human resource function and to reduce risk. Once a review of ten functional areas is complete, Oceana Human Resources Professionals develops a comprehensive audit report that can serve as the framework for a strategic human resource-planning document.
What is the best way to achieve exceptional employee performance? Provide them with training! Not only will training improve employee performance, there is a direct link between employees’ proficiency and the bottom line of your company.
With the success of any organization dependent on its employees, Oceana Human Resources Professionals believes it is important to regularly survey employees to ascertain the organisational climate. A customised organisational climate survey is provided to all employees for completion and the results of the survey are analyzed and a written report of findings is presented.
While there is typically no specific legal requirement to have an employee handbook, it is a best practice to have a carefully crafted handbook covering major areas of concern to both employees and the employer.
